This is a free tool provided as it is. The section that matters is the one about accuracy, and it is not boilerplate.
No web page can ask your screen how physically large it is. Browsers do not expose it, because it can be used to identify people. Everything this site shows is therefore inferred from the resolution and pixel density your browser reports, or set by you against a bank card.
On an iPhone or iPad that inference is close to exact. On Android it is usually within a few per cent. On laptops and external monitors it can be badly wrong, because the same resolution can be a thirteen inch laptop or a thirty-two inch display. The site tells you when it is unsure rather than showing a confident wrong answer, and checking against a bank card settles it.
Do not rely on this for anything where being wrong carries a cost. That includes, without limitation, medical decisions, engineering or manufacturing tolerances, construction, legal or regulatory measurements, and anything you are buying or selling by size. Use a physical ruler. The printable page exists for exactly this reason: on paper the measurement is exact, because a printed millimetre really is a millimetre.
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not promise the site will be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on any measurement taken with it, including indirect, incidental, consequential, or economic loss.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep every right the law of your country gives you, and nothing in these terms reduces them.
Use it, for anything, free, as often as you like, without an account. Print the printable ruler and use the printouts however you wish, including commercially.
Do not attempt to interfere with the site or the people using it. That means no attacks on availability, no attempts to break or circumvent its security, no scraping that degrades it for others, and no automated clicking or generating of advertisement impressions.
That last one is not a formality. Invalid advertising traffic ends the advertising account that funds this site, which ends the site.
The site is funded by advertising. We do not control which ads appear and we do not endorse what they promote. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.

These terms may change, and the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting it.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
